What is coaching?
“Coaching is unlocking a person’s potential to maximise their own performance. It is about helping them to learn rather than teaching them.” (John Whitmore)
Our coaching style & approach
We adopt a supportive but non-directive coaching style. We encourage and challenge our clients to develop their own solutions and implement step-changes towards achieving their ultimate goal.
We help our clients develop their self-awareness and obtain a fundamental self-belief and inner confidence that they can overcome perceived challenges and achieve their chosen life and career objectives.
In consultation with our clients, we tailor our coaching programmes, method, approach, tools and techniques to meet the client’s need, business priorities and preferred learning / communication style. This ensures that the coaching programmes we deliver add value and achieve both personal and business objectives whilst minimising disruption to business and personal commitments.
The benefits of coaching
Unlike formal training interventions, coaching develops greater self-awareness, empowers individuals to transform from ‘the inside out’ and make positive and lasting changes to their behaviours and performance. The benefits of coaching are therefore threefold – to the individual, the team and the organisation, and can lead to:
- Increased self-confidence, motivation, job satisfaction and personal fulfilment
- Improved relationships, team working and performance
- Enhanced reputation
- Positive business results
